Our Father in Italian

This page teaches the Our Father prayer in Italian. The prayer text is provided below in both English and Italian. A prayer video is also provided in which the prayer is recited twice: once at a normal speaking pace; the second time at a slower pace with emphasis on the Italian pronunciations. 

"Our Father"
Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
​but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Padre nostro, che sei nei cieli,
sia santificato il tuo nome,
venga il tuo regno,
sia fatta la tua volontŕ come in cielo cosě in terra.
Dacci oggi il nostro pane quotidiano,
e rimetti a noi i nostri debiti come noi li rimettiamo ai nostri debitori,
e non ci indurre in tentazione,
​ma liberaci dal male.
Amen.
